The Stanley Ghost - Vintage Photos

Several years ago, HauntCon was held in Denver. Pam, Patti, Chris and I decided to extend our trip to include a night in Estes Park at the infamous Stanley Hotel. For those of you who don't know, the Stanley is the inspiration for Stephen King's "The Shining". When you spend a little time there, you can see why. On top of being very secluded, it was also built in 1912, so it's old and creaky. That said, it's also beautiful and the service was definately top notch.

If you ever go and are looking for a little ghostly activity, make sure to book your room on the 3rd floor.

So, without further ado, here are the ghostly pictures. .

What? This didn't make you believe in ghosts? Then I really don't know what will!
